The bright, cozy veranda was added ten years after the manor house itself. When this section was attached to the existing structure, the manor’s original exterior wall was preserved. Here, one can see remnants of wall paintings from the Late Gothic Romanticism period: wallpaper was applied to wooden panels, and ornaments, pilasters with capitals, and friezes were painted over it. An ornamental composition featuring Oriental motifs—depicting a tea ceremony—was painted on the ceiling using the same technique.

This was a favorite summer retreat for the owners. It housed a lush orangery where flowers bloomed all summer long; here, tea was enjoyed, and the owners would pose for portraits.
